Chess Kingdom Expands Early Access With Two New Fast-Paced Modes

Make Your Move in Chess Kingdom

Pinch Games has expanded its Early Access title Chess Kingdom with the introduction of two new modes, bringing a fresh twist to the traditional game. The update adds Kung Fu Chess and Kung Fu Chess Extreme, both designed to deliver a faster and more dynamic experience compared to standard chess.

Chess Kingdom

Kung Fu Chess removes the familiar turn-based structure entirely. Instead of waiting for an opponent, both players move their pieces simultaneously in real time. This shift transforms the pace of the game, placing equal importance on quick thinking, timing, and positioning. Matches conclude when a king is physically captured rather than checkmated, creating a more direct and intense style of play that feels closer to an action game while still rooted in strategy.

Kung Fu Chess Extreme builds on this concept by introducing a layered buff system. As players continue making moves, a progress bar fills up through five tiers. Each tier unlocks the ability for a specific type of piece to perform a double move. The progression follows traditional chess values, beginning with pawns and advancing through knights, bishops, rooks, and finally the queen. The system rewards consistent activity, as the bar carries forward without resetting, encouraging players to stay aggressive throughout the match.

Both new modes are now available in the Quick Match menu alongside the classic format, allowing players to choose their preferred style before each game.

This update adds variety and energy to Chess Kingdom, offering players new ways to experience a familiar classic.
