Take a Fresh Look at Age After Age
Farom Studio has unveiled a fresh gameplay trailer for Age After Age, giving a clearer picture of how its evolving city-building strategy experience takes shape. The new footage follows a settlement’s journey from a small coastal foothold into a complex and thriving city, highlighting the game’s steady progression and layered systems.
The trailer begins with early colonization, where players establish a modest port and lay the foundation for growth. From there, it moves through key stages such as expanding infrastructure, attracting new residents, and spreading across the island. As the settlement grows, logistics and resource management become central, eventually leading to a transformation across different eras, including a shift toward a steampunk-inspired future.
At its core, Age After Age focuses on interconnected systems like production chains, trade, social classes, and lawmaking. Every decision shapes the development of the settlement, turning a simple town into a dynamic civilization. The trailer emphasizes essential features such as exploration through scouting, careful routing of resources, and maintaining balance within the city’s economy and population.
Farom Studio also highlights its goal of creating a detailed and immersive world where management and creativity go hand in hand. The game challenges players to solve problems while letting them enjoy the satisfaction of building and growing their city from the ground up.
A playable demo is currently in development and is expected to arrive by the end of May. It will introduce early challenges and offer a glimpse into the broader world and systems.
With its blend of depth and atmosphere, the game is shaping up to be a promising entry in the city-building genre.
