Mr. Sleepy Man Launches on Steam After Six Years of Solo Development

Create Some Chaos With Mr. Sleepy Man

After six years of solo development, developer Devin Santi has officially launched Mr. Sleepy Man on Steam. The irreverent 3D platformer arrives with publishing support from Monster Theater and is currently available with a 15% launch discount for early players.

Mr. Sleepy Man is a sandbox platformer that leans heavily into chaotic humor and freeform exploration. The game follows its mischievous protagonist, Mr. Sleepy Man, who has stayed up far beyond his bedtime and begins causing trouble throughout Bedtime Town. Players can create as much chaos as possible while interacting with the game’s world and its unusual cast of characters.

The title features a fully expressive 3D platforming moveset that allows players to jump, glide, and dive through interconnected levels. These areas are designed to reward experimentation and exploration. This offers multiple ways to move through environments while uncovering secrets hidden throughout the town.

Interactivity plays a major role in the experience. Players can pick or manipulate every object in the game, allowing them to use the environment creatively to trigger humorous situations and unexpected outcomes. This sandbox-style design encourages players to experiment with objects and mechanics to see what kind of mayhem they can create.

Another standout aspect of the game is its original soundtrack, composed and performed entirely by Santi himself. The music blends nostalgic inspiration from classic 3D platformers with the energetic sound of early 2000s alternative rock.

According to the developers, players aiming for full completion can expect more than 25 hours of gameplay. With its playful tone, interactive environments, and nostalgic inspiration, Mr. Sleepy Man aims to deliver a distinctive take on the modern 3D platformer.
