The updated mobile release allows players to try the game before purchasing. A free trial lets users experience the opening portion while carrying their progress into the full version, which costs $9.99, if they decide to buy it. On mobile devices, the new version runs at 60 frames per second by default, offering smoother performance than the earlier release available on Netflix, which runs at 30fps.

Physical editions of the game are also on the way. North American and European boxed versions, along with the original soundtrack on vinyl, are now available for pre-order through a partnership with Lost in Cult. The release comes in both a standard edition and a premium EDITIONS variant.

The game was hand-crafted by a small team that includes David Hellman, known for his work on Braid, Nick Suttner of Carto, and Nicolás Recabarren, who previously worked on Ethereal. Originally launched in July 2024 across multiple platforms, including the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Netflix, the game currently holds a score of 82 on Metacritic. It also received several award nominations, including Excellence in Game Design at BitSummit 2024 and Best Game at EVA 2024, while winning Best Game Latin America at Gamescom LATAM BIG Festival 2024.
