ASTROBOTANICA Is Out Now on Steam Early Access

Welcome to ASTROBOTANICA

Space Goblin Studio has launched ASTROBOTANICA, its debut title, in Steam Early Access for $19.99, with a limited-time 15% launch discount. After gaining strong traction during Steam Next Fest and completing a successful Kickstarter campaign, the relaxed, science-driven survival adventure arrives with more than 100,000 wishlists already secured ahead of release.

In ASTROBOTANICA, players step into the role of Xel, an alien botanist stranded on prehistoric Earth 300,000 years ago during the Pleistocene era. The planet’s hostile atmosphere and unpredictable wildlife demand ingenuity rather than brute force. Instead of combat, the game centers on cultivation and experimentation. Players farm, harvest, and study plants to survive, replacing swords with seeds and destruction with discovery.

The Early Access version introduces all core systems, including botany, crafting, base building, exploration, and puzzle-solving. Players can meet primal humans, heal them with crafted tonics, and earn their trust to unlock new tools and construction materials. With science-based progression and open-ended pacing, the game encourages curiosity and methodical experimentation.

Co-founder and game director Arkadiusz Woźniak says the team designed ASTROBOTANICA to make survival more welcoming and exploration-focused. Community feedback has already influenced major improvements, from redesigned inventory and crafting interfaces to visual upgrades and performance optimizations.

The studio also revealed its 2026 roadmap, which promises three major content updates featuring plant hybridization, fishing, and expanded building systems. With regular patches and ongoing collaboration planned throughout Early Access, Space Goblin Studio aims to steadily grow ASTROBOTANICA alongside its community.
