Slime Rancher 2 Gets Physical Editions as the Series Celebrates 10 Years of Adventures

A Huge Milestone for Slime Rancher

Monomi Park is celebrating a major milestone for its beloved Slime Rancher franchise with the launch of Slime Rancher 2 physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, marking 10 years of wiggly, joyful adventures. Created in partnership with iam8bit, these special anniversary editions proudly feature the “Wiggly Forever” emblem and showcase exclusive artwork by legendary artist Yusuke Naora, known for his work on FINAL FANTASY VII, X, and XV.

Both a global retail edition and an iam8bit Exclusive Edition are now available. Each includes a region-free physical copy of the game and a fold-out poster featuring Naora’s custom illustration. The iam8bit Exclusive Edition adds extra charm with a sticker sheet of six adorable slimes and an exclusive O-sleeve highlighting Beatrix LeBeau alongside other fan-favorite characters. Both editions are priced at $34.99 and are available now through iam8bit and participating retailers. In addition, Slime Rancher 2 physical editions on PS5 will launch in Asia on February 26, 2026, with a Japanese release planned for Q2 2026.

The physical release follows the launch of Slime Rancher 2 Version 1.0, titled “A Hero in Time,” which arrived in September 2025. This update delivers the most complete and feature-rich version of the game yet, inviting players to uncover the secrets of Rainbow Island, solve long-running mysteries, and save the Far, Far Range in a memorable finale.

An award-winning sequel, Slime Rancher 2 has sold nearly 2 million copies during Early Access and earned accolades for its stunning visual design. Players once again step into the boots of Beatrix LeBeau, exploring a vibrant new world filled with ancient technology, mysterious resources, and a delightful array of new slimes to discover.
