I Am Future Is Coming to Consoles on 8th January 2026

Build Your Dream Base in I Am Future

I Am Future arrives on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on January 8, bringing its calm, uplifting take on the post-apocalyptic genre to a new audience. Published by tinyBuild and developed by Mandragora, the game has already earned a warm reception on Steam. The console version is priced at 19.99 USD and invites players to shape a peaceful life above the ruins of a flooded world.

The console release includes every update added during the game’s time on PC, covering its Early Access debut in 2023 through its full launch in 2024. Players can build a rooftop camp, grow crops, fish in quiet waters, and explore abandoned districts. All while cooking meals and crafting tools to support a calm daily rhythm. These features come together within a detailed Story Mode supported by expanded construction options.

There is also a deep weather system, and interactions with fellow survivors who add heart to the journey. Fans of titles such as Stardew Valley, Dave the Diver, and Coral Island will find a familiar sense of gentle progression and discovery, paired with a unique setting shaped by nature reclaiming the world.

The creators will also reveal their next project during the Wholesome Snack: The Game Awards Edition 2025 showcase. The presentation airs on December 9 at 3 PM ET and 12 PM PT across Twitch and YouTube, offering a first look at what the team is preparing beyond this release.

I Am Future is already available on Steam and Steam Deck. Players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch can wishlist it now as they look forward to a calm, creative experience set after a world-changing flood.
