Better Than Us Officially Announced by Little Bat Games

Infiltrate the Wealthy People in Better Than Us

Little Bat Games, the studio known for the award-winning Vampire Therapist, has revealed Better Than Us, a social stealth narrative set in a distant future shaped by today’s familiar inequalities. The story takes place in the year 2200, where the richest people in history have retreated to floating cities built to escape a climate disaster of their own making. Their goal is no longer luxury for its own sake but the power to claim moral superiority. Predictably, enormous wealth has not made them any wiser or kinder.

Players step into the role of a skilled thief and master manipulator who works with her clever rodent companion. Their task is to slip into lavish gatherings hosted inside these airborne fortresses and quietly turn the tables on the elite. Progress comes from charm and deception rather than traditional stealth or combat. Each conversation becomes a tool, and every relationship becomes a potential advantage. Players will track the stories they tell, manage shifting alliances, and maintain an expanding web of lies designed to confuse even the most powerful figures.

The game continues the strong storytelling tradition of Vampire Therapist and features notable voice talent. Sarah Grayson, known for Hades 2 and Gone Home, joins Cyrus Nemati, who also leads creative direction at the studio. Historians from Oxford University, UC Davis, and the University of Florida contributed insights to help the team portray the effects of extreme wealth in a sharp yet playful tone.

Nemati notes that the past often provides useful context for current problems while also offering fewer legal risks for small developers. Better Than Us will launch on PC and Mac in 2026, with Steam wishlisting available now. Vampire Therapist is also discounted during Steam’s Choices Matter sale, giving players another chance to explore Little Bat Games’ earlier work.
