New Adjustments for Elden Ring: Nightreign
FromSoftware is expanding Elden Ring: Nightreign this week with The Forsaken Hollows DLC. The new content introduces two playable characters, two additional bosses, and a Shifting Earth event that adds a fresh layer to the world. To access any of this new material, the developer has released the Nightreign Version 1.03 patch on PC and consoles today.

This update focuses heavily on improving the flow of combat. One of the major adjustments expands the trigger conditions for Relic effects. Passive abilities now activate more consistently, supporting a wider range of attack styles. Players who rely on two-handed weapons or armaments will notice improved attack power. Chain attacks, charged strikes, and jump attacks also benefit from these updates, creating a more dynamic combat rhythm.
Spell users gain an advantage as well. The Wrath of Gold incantation now delivers greater power while consuming less FP, making it more reliable during difficult encounters. The patch also resolves several issues. One fix addresses a problem during the Augur invasion that teleported players to unintended locations if they landed a critical hit at the wrong moment. Another improvement mitigates a situation that sometimes prevents players from activating Sites of Grace or Churches, helping ensure smoother progression through key areas.
The expansion officially arrived today, opening the door to new challenges and characters for players eager to return to Nightreign’s world. You can check out the full patch notes right here to examine every adjustment included in this update.
