Unravel the Mystery in Huntsman
Ten Image Publishing and OnTheHouse Studio have confirmed that Huntsman will arrive on PC via Steam on 27 November. This will mark the start of a tense survival horror journey inside a research facility overrun with spiders. The announcement comes alongside the debut of Creature Features, a new trailer series that highlights each arachnid type appearing in the game. Episode One focuses on the huntsman spider and is now available on Steam.
Huntsman places players inside Atherton Labs’ Experimental BioSolutions Division. It’s a place where an ordinary first day quickly spirals into an escape attempt through dark corridors filled with spiders that behave with unsettling realism. The huntsman spider is introduced as a fast creature drawn to noise from quick footsteps. Stealth allows players to slip past, and creative use of the environment can divert its attention during dangerous encounters.
The second episode of Creature Features arrives later this week and turns attention to the orb weaver, a spider that lurks above and ambushes slow-moving prey. Its preference for staying in one place makes it difficult to detect in dimly lit areas. So players will need to check their surroundings carefully. Throwing objects can force the orb weaver to pull back for a brief moment, offering a narrow window of safety.
Episodes Three and Four will showcase the remaining spider types, explaining their patterns and behaviours to help improve survival strategies. Ten Image founder Chris White noted that the response to the demo has been remarkable and that player feedback has been instrumental in shaping the final release.
Huntsman launches on Steam on 27 November, and the game is available to wishlist now.
