Plan Your Strategies in Turnbound
1TK has announced that their mind-bending auto battler Turnbound is heading to Early Access on 13th November, following its debut at PC Gamer – Tokyo Direct. The competitive inventory management game will make its next appearance at the Galaxies Showcase, where players can look forward to experiencing its unique blend of strategy and creativity.
Designers Tom and Donald shared that the Early Access release will allow them to bring the community directly into development. “We have seen creators refer to us as ‘Indie Hearthstone Battlegrounds’ – that is a big goal and one we aspire to live up to.” “Because of all the possible combinations and builds, games like this turn out best if they are community driven. Being in Early Access gives us the opportunity to start involving players early.”

The Early Access version will launch with three Hero Characters and more than 140 items and abilities, giving players endless ways to craft inventive auto battler builds and compete asynchronously with others. A fourth Hero Character is already in development and will be available during Early Access.
The team also outlined their first wave of content updates, including leaderboards, build sharing, new game modes, and deeper progression and customization options. While there is no specific release date yet, fans can follow development through the public roadmap available on the game’s Steam page. The team also ensures that there will be weekly balance adjustments and larger content drops to ensure the game continues to evolve. One of the most anticipated features is the ability to save and share builds, allowing players to challenge friends or creators to test their strategies.
For those eager to put their organizational and tactical skills to the test, Turnbound is now available to wishlist on Steam, and its demo remains playable until the Early Access launch.
