Bullet Hell Action Awaits in Rightfully, Beary Arms
Daylight Basement Studio has announced that Rightfully, Beary Arms, their charming yet chaotic bullet hell roguelite, will officially launch in version 1.0 on January 27, 2026, for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as on Xbox Series X|S. The announcement came during IGN Fan Fest: Fall Edition, highlighting the game’s evolution from its Early Access days into a fully realized intergalactic adventure.

Players step back into the paws of Beary, a deceptively cute but highly dangerous bear, now armed with a variety of new weapons, modifiers, and upgrades. The 1.0 version introduces fresh story beats, mid-run save options, and achievements, along with a wardrobe of newly designed outfits, allowing Beary to bring style and firepower to every chaotic encounter. Gamers can tackle menacing final bosses, including the formidable Fun Guys and shocking Battery Boys, while experimenting with weapon transformations such as the Crop Duster and Fish Sword, augmented to unleash maximum devastation.
The roguelite runs combine strategy and unpredictability, offering randomly generated bonuses that benefit both Beary and his foes, adding layers of risk and reward. Between levels, players explore a pixelated galaxy filled with colorful enemies, stylish hazards, and a chip tune soundtrack that keeps the action lively and entertaining. Success comes through repeated runs, learning patterns, and mastering the combination of outfits, weapons, and augments to earn the title of the galaxy’s most fearsome teddy.
“Who says a cute bear can’t learn new tricks?” said Chris Bischke, co-founder of Daylight Basement Studio. “After releasing in Steam Early Access over two years ago, we’ve poured countless hours into making Beary’s adventures more adorably chaotic than ever. We can’t wait to see what shenanigans fans will get him into with our 1.0 launch next year.”
