A Fishing Horror Adventure Awaits in DREADMOOR
Publisher Digital Vortex Entertainment teams up with developer Dream Dock Studio to publish DREADMOOR. It is a horror fishing adventure set in a haunting post-apocalyptic world. The partnership marks a major step toward bringing the game’s eerie vision and distinctive atmosphere to players around the world.
Since its reveal in April 2025, DREADMOOR has drawn strong attention from fans of dark, immersive adventures. Within just ten days, it gathered over 40,000 wishlists on Steam. And now, the game ranks among the platform’s top 600 most-wishlisted games, despite limited marketing. With this early momentum, the project is moving toward a planned full release in Q4 2026.
Blending horror, survival, and fishing, DREADMOOR offers a unique first-person experience. Players must explore a drowned wasteland, uncovering secrets both on land and at sea. Anglers will face the unknown as they fish for otherworldly creatures lurking beneath the waves, craft survival gear, and navigate the psychological tension of a ruined world. Drawing inspiration from DREDGE, Metro Exodus, and Resident Evil, the game combines cinematic storytelling with eerie exploration and suspenseful mechanics.
