Cloudheim Has Released a Playable Demo on Steam

Bring Harmony to Cloudheim

Noodle Cat Games has released a new playable demo for its upcoming title, Cloudheim, on Steam. The demo invites players to explore the world of Arcadia through the game’s tutorial, the flying turtle base known as the Odin Shell, and the first two story acts featuring much of the island and its early dungeons. To celebrate the release, the developer also released a brand-new trailer.

Cloudheim combines chaotic creativity with cooperative action, allowing up to four players to experiment with physics. It takes place in a world where everything can be destroyed, moved, or manipulated. The game emphasizes real-time creativity, letting players forge weapons and gear directly in the field without menus or pauses. Teammates share all loot and crafted items, though each player keeps separate progression. This encourages teamwork and strategy as groups adapt to ever-changing situations.

Beyond its action-packed combat, Cloudheim offers a colorful world inspired by Norse mythology. Players can expand and personalize the Odin Shell, their flying turtle fortress, transforming it into a workshop, shop, and home base between adventures. Each island and dungeon hides new secrets, crafting materials, and opportunities to experiment with wild combinations of powers and physics.

“Cloudheim is a game all about physics systems colliding in unexpected ways,” said David Hunt, CEO and Founder of Noodle Cat Games. “It’s like Smash Bros. had a baby with Zelda, as you explore a sprawling fantasy kingdom full of danger, wonder, and surprises around every corner! This demo will give players a taste of the exciting adventures that await them when Cloudheim launches on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.”

The game will launch in Early Access later this year, so make sure to keep an eye out.
