More Fun for Wreckfest 2
Bugbear Entertainment and THQ Nordic have rolled out Content Update #3 for Wreckfest 2. The update injects fresh adrenaline into the demolition derby racer with two new cars, a brand new track, multiple racing routes, and a host of refinements that push the chaos to the next level.

The car roster grows with the introduction of Switchback, a powerful American muscle car that thrives on speed and brutal collisions, and Popper, a quick European folk racing machine tailored for tight circuits. These additions expand the variety of driving styles, letting players smash their way to victory with fresh strategies.
Racing fans will also find plenty of new tracks and layouts to master. Among them are the Folk Racing Track in both forward and reverse, several redesigned Scrapyard layouts including Speedbowl and Figure 8, the Savolax Short Circuit in two directions, a compact Speedway Inner Oval, and a reverse version of European Rallycross 1. Each course is built to amplify Wreckfest’s signature balance of speed, destruction, and unpredictability.
Beyond new content, the update introduces quality-of-life improvements that make the experience more refined. Players can now choose between Novice, Amateur, and Expert AI difficulty levels. There is a new reporting option, SimHub telemetry support, faster loading times, improved stability, and more consistent damage modeling that round out the technical upgrades.
With its rebuilt physics engine designed to harness modern hardware, Wreckfest 2 continues to raise the bar for metal-twisting mayhem. From detailed component damage to spectacular crashes, the game delivers unrivaled moments of destruction while maintaining its unmistakable driving feel.
