Bigger Battlegrounds for Battlefield 6
Battlefield 6 players who felt the open beta maps were a little too modest may have something to look forward to. A recent datamine has hinted that two unreleased maps, Eastwood and Mirak Valley, will be significantly larger than anything available so far.
Shared by Battlefield Wire, the leaked images compare both maps against the beta’s Siege of Cairo, making it clear that the upcoming battlegrounds stretch much further. While not quite on the scale of the series’s largest maps, they do appear to offer more room for maneuver.

Additional renders, first spotted by MP1st on Imgur, provide a closer look at both environments. Mirak Valley is a map located in Tajikistan, where mountain terrain and a central river create natural choke points for battles. Eastwood, which is in California, might arrive post-launch in Season 1. The map showcases a golf course, luxury villas, and even bonus vehicles such as a boat and a golf cart, adding a playful twist to the fight.
Although these details remain unconfirmed, they align with DICE’s earlier assurance that “large maps exist, and the tempo scales accordingly, you’ll be able to see soon enough!”
Alongside these leaks, EA has continued addressing community concerns. Last week, the publisher confirmed ongoing efforts against cheating, noting that its anti-cheat systems had already blocked over 330,000 attempts to bypass protections. Players are also now required to enable Secure Boot, and EA promises further updates to stay ahead of cheaters.
Despite criticism of certain modes like Rush, the Battlefield 6 beta has attracted impressive player numbers, particularly on Steam. With anticipation building and larger maps on the horizon, October’s full release looks set for a strong debut.
