Join the Action in Alien Strike: Blasting Intruders
Brazilian developer Combo Game Studio has launched a limited open playtest for its upcoming title Alien Strike: Blasting Intruders. Available exclusively on Steam, the beta runs from August 15 through August 31, 2025. Moreover, players interested in joining can head to the game’s Steam page and click “request access.”
Described as a tribute to classics like Metal Slug and Contra, the game delivers fast-paced run-and-gun combat with its own distinct style. Alien Strike combines explosive action with a colorful, handcrafted aesthetic. The game is perfect for solo play or co-op with up to three players,
The playtest also highlights professional voiceover work in both Portuguese and English. Notable contributions include Luana Stegger of Dublapedia Brasil and Ricardo Juarez, whose voice has become familiar to Brazilian fans through iconic characters such as Kratos in God of War, Johnny Bravo, and Julius from Everybody Hates Chris.
Combo Game Studio stresses that player feedback will play a vital role in development. Testers are encouraged to share their thoughts through the Steam discussions tab or via the official Nuntius Games Discord server. Wishlist additions on Steam are also recommended to boost the game’s visibility.
Project director Alyson Monteiro emphasized the importance of this phase: “This playtest is essential for players to experience how the game is shaping up, provide feedback, suggest improvements, and more. We will analyze all the information and work even harder on the game.”
Once the test concludes, an official demo will launch, reflecting adjustments and improvements shaped by community input. With this collaborative approach, Combo Game Studio aims to refine Alien Strike: Blasting Intruders into a polished, action-packed experience for its full release.
