CRITICAL REFLEX Is Getting More Eerie
CRITICAL REFLEX has announced two distinct and haunting additions to its CR Channel publishing label, both arriving on PC later this year. Eclipsium by Housefire and CARIMARA: Beneath the Forlorn Limbs by Bastinus Rex are visually arresting, deeply atmospheric titles that embrace the strange and the surreal in strikingly different ways.
Here is some information for both titles:
Eclipsium invites players into a sunless, ever-shifting world where safety is a distant memory. In this exploratory horror experience, players are led forward by a faint light, navigating through supernatural spaces that twist and distort at every turn. The game takes players on a tense and moody descent into the unknown, offering no clear path and no comfort. A playable demo is now available on Steam for those ready to step into the darkness.
In contrast, CARIMARA: Beneath the Forlorn Limbs casts players as Carimara, a small but powerful sorceress on a strange and magical journey. Inspired by the folklore of Normandy, this point-and-click horror tale unfolds like a dark fairytale. The game is full of cryptic questions, mysterious cards, and ghostly conjurations. Designed to be completed in under an hour, CARIMARA delivers a concentrated dose of eerie storytelling and visual invention.
Both titles highlight CRITICAL REFLEX’s growing commitment to supporting innovative indie developers and experimental horror. Trailers for Eclipsium and CARIMARA are available on YouTube, offering a glimpse into the otherworldly experiences awaiting players this fall.
