A Furry Adventure Awaits in Farewell North
The solo game developer Kyle Banks and indie publisher Monneye Studios have announced the release date and platforms for Farewell North during the Future Games Show. This emotional narrative adventure game will be coming out on PC, Switch, and Xbox Series X/S on 15 April.
Farewell North is an open-world exploration adventure game. You will play as a border collie named Chesley and embark on a journey with his owner through the Scottish highlands. After suffering from depression and grief, the owner’s world has become colorless. Chesley must try her best to restore the color so that his beloved owner has a chance to heal.
There are several themed islands to explore at your own pace which are filled with light puzzles. Every island offers an opportunity to unravel the story and uncover the past events that caused your owner’s depression.
Kyle Banks, the developer of the game has built a strong community through his dev logs, Discord, and TikToks. However, he has not confirmed the release date or any additional platforms other than PC. So, finally hearing this news will spark joy for all dog lovers and narrative game fans.
