West Hunt Stands Off On Nintendo Switch

Yee-haw, it’s time to keep this town safe partners. Yet, be warned sheriff, there are outlaws about. They are hiding in plain sight, looking to wreak havoc on this here settlement. You better find them before it’s too late. Today, developer NewGen alongside publisher Wandering Wizard are happy to announce the release of their social deduction game, West Hunt, for the Nintendo Switch. Inviting players to an old western town full of bandits, the game pits outlaws and law enforcement against each other. Of course, the outlaws need to keep themselves blending in with the crowds. Whereas the sheriffs need to locate the outlaws before they accomplish their missions. Of course, a launch trailer gives players a glimpse of the game.

West Hunt introduces players to an old western town. Full of old-timey tropes and peoples from the old west, the setting provides a perfect backdrop for social deduction. In either 1v1 or 3v3 game modes, players will face off with one team as the long arm of the law and others as bandits. Amidst the normal folk of the town, the outlaws must complete specific missions within a set timeframe. However, the sheriffs will be keeping a watchful eye and must watch for strange behavior from the townsfolk to pick out the outlaws. Funnily enough, the game does have voice chat which allows both teams to taunt one another, hoping to aggravate the the sheriffs or draw out a mistake from the outlaws.
