Developer Imagine Wings Studio and publisher Edigger have announced the demo release date for With My Past. It will be arriving on Steam on 10 January. Players will get to experience the entire content of the prologue and the first chapter in this demo. So, get ready to get a first-hand experience of the amazing journey of self-exploration.
With My Past is a puzzle platformer that seamlessly blends a rich narrative and gameplay. You will step inside the shoes of a troubled blue-haired girl, haunted by the mistakes in her past. Your responsibility is to help her overcome her regrets and help her understand and confront her past.
The game features a unique gameplay mechanism, where the main character’s self from two seconds ago exists simultaneously with her current self. The girl needs to solve the puzzles while cooperating with her “shadows of the past”. This adds a different layer to the puzzles and an innovative way to advance the story.
With My Past is divided into multiple chapters according to the different stages of the girl’s understanding of her past self. And every level is an exploration of choice and consequence. As the game progresses through its various chapters, the mechanics also change.
This distinctive arrangement not only heightens the level of difficulty but also encourages players to ponder deeply on the significance of personal development, consistently reflect, advance, and ultimately attain both personal growth and spiritual elevation.
