Chrysalis Interactive has announced that their upcoming title Forgotten Skies will enter its closed-beta phase in spring next year. The developer also confirmed that it will be available for pre-registration on Steam around January 2024. Moreover, the game will launch on the platform in the third quarter of 2024, so let’s keep an eye out.

This news implies that a select group of game testers will have the chance to play and assess the game. According to the developer, the primary goal for the beta is to get a first impression of the game. Preliminary assessments of performance and other aspects will be carried out at the same time.

Chrysalis Interactive has not officially disclosed the size of the playable test version for the game. As well as the number of game testers who will be granted the chance to experience the pre-release version.

Daniel Gippert, the founder and CEO of Chrysalis Interactive announced that a small number of game testers will receive a modest gift package to bring home.

Forgotten Skies is a third-person platform adventure game that blends different genres. You will control a funny bobblehead character and embark on a fun and hilarious journey on flying islands to find collectibles and complete various quests and tasks.

Along the way, you will encounter various NPCs and mystical creatures that are amusing. They might become an enemy that you must fight. Or they can turn out to be friends who will help you with clues throughout the diverse narrative of the game.
