Every gamer’s favorite little skeleton is embarking on the end of his journey. It’s time for little Skul to become a defender and don some mythic skulls. Today, NEOWIZ is excited to announce that the first paid DLC for their hit hack-and-slash roguelike, Skul: The Hero Slayer, is out now. Allowing players to enjoy a host of new content, the free side of the update introduces a whole new game mode and story to enjoy. Additionally, the paid DLC allows players to experience more to explore in a mythological-themed adventure. An official trailer for the Demon King update gives fans a look at what awaits them.
Skul: The Hero Slayer is an action platformer that introduces players to the titular skeleton, Skul. Skul has a special power to wear other skulls and gain tremendous powers from them. Now, with the inclusion of the mythology DLC, players will have access to five new playable skulls all based on mythological figures. Of course, these will be incredibly useful as players embark on a new mission to defend the Demon King’s castle from waves of enemies.
The new game mode coming to Skul: The Hero Slayer in the free update is Demon King Castle Defence. Importantly, this offers a new way to play. In fact, instead of the normal side-scrolling action players can expect more. Interestingly, the game mode pits players against hordes of enemies in strategic battles to save the castle.
