Modern Warfare III’s ‘True Legends’ Event Has Exclusive Rewards

In-Game Event Offers Double XP Tokens, Weapon Camos, and More to Honor Military Veterans

Starting on November 15, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III players can participate in the True Legends in-game event, dedicated to honoring military veterans. This event provides an opportunity for players to earn special rewards, including double XP tokens, unique weapon camos, emblems, and more.

Named True Legends, the event is a week-long celebration concluding on November 22, allowing players ample time to acquire the exclusive items. The event is not only a tribute to veterans but also ties into the recent Call of Duty Endowment charity DLC launch. Players purchasing the $10 DLC not only contribute to the Call of Duty Endowment charity but also gain accelerated progression through the True Legends event.

Activision, in a blog post, outlined that players can unlock these rewards simply by “playing the game and earning XP.” The True Legends event aims to engage the Call of Duty community in paying homage to military veterans.

The Call of Duty Endowment, Activision’s charitable initiative, focuses on supporting the placement of military veterans into civilian jobs as they transition out of the service. Since its establishment in 2009, the charity has successfully facilitated the employment of over 125,000 military veterans.

As an additional incentive for players supporting the Call of Duty Endowment, the purchase of the Call of Duty Endowment Warrior Pack unlocks the Koa King Operator, modeled after a decorated former Navy SEAL with multiple tours of duty.

Exclusive rewards in the Modern Warfare III True Legends event include an “Emblematic” Sticker, 30-Minute Double Player XP Token, “Always Forward” Large Decal, 45-Minute Double Weapon XP Token, “Got Your Back” Weapon Charm, “Stacked” Large Decal, “Anthem” Emblem, “Flanked” Calling Card, and a 60-Minute Double Battle Pass XP Token, topped off with the “Brave Stripes” Weapon Camo.
