Howl Unleashes The Plague on Switch and PC

A Howling Plague & Living Ink

It’s time to step into a world of ink and a horrific plague. Your brain and your brawn will be put to the test as you navigate a dark fairytale world. Today, Astragon Entertainment and Mi’pu’mi Games are happy to announce the release of their turn-based adventure, Howl. Inviting players to an ever-expanding parchment world, the game allows players to play through a variety of levels in order to stop the evil of the story. A release trailer for the game gives players a glimpse of what they can expect from this story. Additionally, a press release provides some more info on the game.

Howl

Howl introduces players to a medieval folktale set in a parchment world. However, a “howling plague” has transformed the people of this fairytale into horrific monsters. Luckily, the protagonist is a deaf heroine who is immune to the noise-based plague. Yet, the beasts still pose a threat with their physical forms. For instance, they can rip the hero apart with claws and teeth. Different types of monsters have different health states and strengths. Luckily, our hero has her own tricks to fight back.

As players adventure in Howl they will run into a

special mechanic. Interestingly, players will be able to plan out their moves six turns ahead. With this, they will be able to outmaneuver their enemies or destroy them outright. Of course, players can check out the release trailer for a glimpse of the game. Check it out below.

Howl is out now on the Nintendo Switch and for PC on Steam.
