Join the Adventure in Jet Force Gemini

Today, Nintendo has announced that Rare’s 1999 third-person shooter game, Jet Force Gemini is coming to the Switch. It will be added to Switch Online’s Nintendo 64 library in December, though we still haven’t got any release date yet.

Jet Force Gemini follows the story of a galactic law enforcement team that is down to its last three members. Now the trio must set out on an epic adventure on the planet Goldwood. Their mission is to the Tribals from the evil insectoid called Mizar and his army.

Players will get to explore 15 worlds and rescue all the Tribals hidden in each one of them. The characters have unique skills to find and reach them all. The game offers widescreen support and Dolby Surround, and it is one of the most technically successful titles of the N64 console. And it did not even require the console’s Expansion Pak for extra RAM.

The game will come out in Japan on 30 November along with GoldenEye 007. In the next month, the release of Jet Force Gemini will increase the number of N64 games on Switch online to 27 in the West.

So, for now, let us wait for the global release date with our fingers crossed.
