Developer Eldin Turulja and publisher eBrothers LLC have finally launched a brand new Demo for Those Who Rule on Steam. It comes along with the first 4 chapters of the game for you to try out. Moreover, the full release is expected in late Q4 of 2024.
Those Who Rule is Those Who Rule is a turn-based tactical RPG inspired by the old Fire Emblem games with its own twist. The game takes place in a medieval fantasy morally gray world. Players take control of a group of newly recruited soldiers. And embark on a quest to uncover the truth behind the endless conflict affecting your country.
Characters in the game start simple but as they level up, their class increases from base to advance, and then to elite. Players will also get to choose between 3 new classes on each promotion. Each one will come along with new weapon expertise, stats, and passive and active ability. The developers are also working on class changes as well.
The game features a hex grid comes many tactical implications. There are 6 tiles around each unit enabling different gameplay mechanics. This includes flanking and backstabbing enemies for better hit rates, damage, and special effects depending on your class/abilities. The position of each character is important to come out victorious.
