Don’t Delve too Greedily into Moria
Welcome to the Fourth Age of Middle Earth, Dwarf. The War of the Ring is over, yet dark things still dwell in the deep. Now, you and your bravest friends must dare to venture into the dark places and reclaim your home. Today, developer Free Range Games and publisher North Beach Games are happy to announce the release of their adventure game, The Lord of the Rings: Return To Moria. Reintroducing players to the world of J.R.R Tolkien’s The Lord of The Rings after the events of Return of The King, the game allows players to return to one of the most iconic locations of the world: Moria. A launch trailer provides players with a glimpse of the game.
The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria invites players to enter a survival adventure experience. Set in the Dwarven Kingdom of Moria, players are able to create their very own Dwarf character. Interestingly, players are tasked to return to Moria, and reclaim it from all manner of dark creatures, by none other than Gimli himself. Importantly, players are able to create their own forward base, craft items, and armor, and explore a unique procedurally generated environment. Of course, the mines are far from empty.
Importantly, Return to Moria has all manner of evil creatures to face. For instance, players can expect to face off against Goblins or giant arachnids. Check out the launch trailer for a look at what awaits in Moria.
The Lord of The Rings: Return to Moria is out now on PC via the Epic Games Store. Additionally, the game will be available on PS5 on December 5th and Xbox Series X/S in 2024.
