Happy Catharsis Awaits
NIS America has released the official launch trailer of their latest title CRYMACHINA. The video provides a brief introduction to its narrative and gameplay. Moreover, this anime-inspired action RPG was developed by FURYU Corporation. The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic future where humanity has extinct due to a disease called Centrifugal Syndrome and wars.
However, near the end, the remaining people launched a spaceship called Eden to preserve their species. And decades later, self-evolving artificial intelligence known as Deus Ex Machina operates the spaceship.
The player takes control of Leben, a young girl revived in a mechanical body as part of a program to bring back humanity. She is joined by two other girls, Mikoto and Ami, who have also been revived as well. Together, the three girls must fight their way through the dangerous world of Eden to become “Real Humans” and uncover the truth behind humanity’s extinction.
The game has a fast-paced and action-packed gameplay. The player controls one of the three girls and can switch between them at any time. Each girl has her own unique fighting style and abilities. The world is also a very fascinating one, full of mystery and intrigue.
CRYMACHINA explores themes of what it means to be human, the nature of consciousness, and the future of humanity. The story is well-written and engaging, with memorable characters and a satisfying conclusion.
