Tamarak Trail Introduces Hero Lore With Blog Post

The Heroes of the Trail 

Any great adventure has its heroes. These daring, adventurous, souls drive the story of the adventure and serve as the saviors of whatever they are trying to save. Adventures in video games are no different. Of course, it’s always a fine addition to any tale to learn about these heroes. Luckily, when it comes to Tamarak Trail, you can do just that. Today, Yarrow Games and Versus Evil are giving players the opportunity to learn more about the heroes of their upcoming roguelike, Tamarak Trail. A new blog post on Versus Evil’s website provides details on the game’s heroes, specifically their backstory. Additionally, a press release provides more details on the game itself. 

Tamarak Trail invites players to join a secret society known as the Sturgeon Lodge. As a member of this Lodge, players will work towards solving the mysteries of a dying Earth. Of course, this will put players up against challenging puzzles and horrifying monsters. Importantly, players can use their skills to get past these challenges. 

Interestingly, Tamarak Trail allows players to choose from three distinct classes: The Magician, The Tracker, or The Detective. A new blog post provides players with the background of each character, Elysia, Malcolm, and Hale respectively. Additionally, those still hungry for more lore can check out a monster design developer diary for a look at some of the monstrosities that these three heroes will face. 

Tamarak Trail is releasing later in 2023 on PC. Currently, the game is available to wish list on Steam.
