Can You Find the Theif of Sakabato?
The indie video game studio Gammera Nest has released their latest title Kittengumi: The Sakabato’s Thief. This visual novel narrative game is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam for a price of $9.99 USD.
Kittengumi: The Sakabato’s Thief takes place in an alternative Japan called Gapon. It follows the story of the Kittengumi, a group of samurai cats that ensures security and justice in the place. They face difficulties as someone steals the emblematic Sakabato sword. This is a huge disgrace for the samurai clan and they set off to the streets to capture the thief.
There are two protagonists Ryuudama, a panda bear who believes that he is a cat, and Kumaneko. Together, they will embark on an official mission to find the thief and retrieve the sword. They will encounter different characters along the way and make decisions according to the situation. The game has a total of 10 different endings that depend on the path that the player chooses.
Moreover, the Sakabato Thief is the first of a collection of visual novels that tell different stories starring the members of this group.
