Death Gets PhysicalÂ
Collectors rejoice. A new physical edition is preparing to grace your collections and it is deadly indeed. Today, Gearbox Publishing and Magic Design Studios have given players a glimpse of the physical editions of their dark roguelike, Have a Nice Death, on the Switch. The game, which was released earlier this year on PC and Switch, combines roguelike elements with the combination-style combat of hack-and-slash games. Importantly, Gearbox Publishing is giving players a glimpse of the game’s physical cover. A press release provides some images and some information on the game.Â
Have a Nice Death places players in the role of the titular character. However, in this universe, Death owns a corporation. In fact, Death Inc. is responsible for delivering souls to the afterlife. Yet, it’s not all going according to plan. Death’s assistants, the Sorrows, have begun disobeying him and running things as they see fit. So, it’s time to scythe those disloyal workers and make them get back to work. Using over 70 weapons, different abilities, and more, players can figure out the playstyle that best suits them. Of course, the game is a roguelite meaning failure is around every corner but upgrades await.Â
The Have A Nice Death physical release date is yet to be announced. However, players can still get a glimpse of what awaits them in the official launch trailer for the game from earlier this year. Check it out below.Â
Have a Nice Death is out now on Nintendo Switch and PC. The physical editions of the game are coming to the Nintendo Switch later in 2023.Â
