Mamma Mia! You need to hear this news. Mario is back again with an outstanding performance. Even though the launch of Super Mario Bros. Wonder is next month on 20 October, its pre-orders are dominating the chart.
A Direct presentation happened last week and it revealed many features of the latest entry. Now, the game has topped the ‘Best Sellers’ chart on Amazon in the US. It already surpassed titles like Starfield, Final Fantasy XVI, and other Switch titles like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. We are absolutely certain that it will mark a huge leap in the history of 2D platformers.
The plot of the game sees Mario and Luigi invited to the Flower Kingdom by Prince Florian. However, their trip is soon interrupted by Bowser, who steals the Flower Kingdom’s special Wonder Flower and merges with Florian’s castle to become a giant, super-powered version of himself. Mario and Luigi must then use the Wonder Flower to transform into their new forms and defeat Bowser to save the Flower Kingdom.
Super Mario Bros Wonder has become the leading Switch title in different parts of the world as well. It is ranking higher than titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Pikmin 4. You can place your pre-orders on multiple websites now. Not only that, you can pre-purchase it even on Nintendo eShop. You can even get it through the Nintendo Switch Game Voucher in some regions.
