It Is Time to Raise Hell in Saints Row
Last year, the reboot of the Volition action series made its debut on consoles and the Epic Games Store. But the exclusive period for the latter platform has recently ended. The reboot version of the popular title Saints Row is finally available on Steam. The fun part is that it features a 67% discount for the month of August.
The game can be purchased for a heavy discount until 31 August as a celebration of its arrival on Steam. The Standard Edition of the game which is priced at $59.99 / £49.99, is presently available for just $19.79 / £16.49. The Gold Edition, featuring the Expansion Pass and the Los Panteros American Muscle Bundle, is typically priced at $89.99 / £74.99. However, it is presently available for just $29.69 / £24.74. The Platinum Edition, with all the contents of the Gold Edition and a copy of Saints Row: The Third Remastered, usually costs $99.99 / £84.99. Now it is currently available for just $32.99 / £28.04.
The game received a mixture of reviews at launch and the current score on Metacritic is 61-65. Lars Wingefors, the CEO of Embracer Group said he was personally disappointed by the bad reception of the game. Lars said, “Personally, I had hoped for a greater reception to the game.” He also added, “It’s been very polarising. There are a lot of things that could be said in detail around it, but I’m with one hand happy to see lots of gamers and fans happy, and at the same time I’m a bit sad to also see fans not happy, so it’s difficult.”
