Saints Row Reveals DLC Details, Free and Season Pass Content

Back Off Death Row

Even players who loved the game will admit, Saints Row had a disappointing launch. On top of the bugs, the game just wasn’t received very well. Volition is looking to fix that though, with the game’s DLC plans, which were revealed earlier today.

It has been several months since Saints Row launched. Volition has spent much of that time fixing bugs and getting the base game in tip top shape. Now they are ready to show us what else there is planned. There are content drops planned for April, May, July, and August.

Saints Row

In April, there will be a free cosmetic pack to coincide with the release of Dead Island 2, another Deep Silver game. The following month, in May, the first paid DLC will drop. The Heist and the Hazardous adds new story missions, cosmetics, and events. There is also a free update with this release that overhauls the combat system, adds a new area, and a photo mode.

In July, the second expansion called Doc Ketchum’s Murder Circus gets released as a new solo mode. This is likely an extension of the livestream murder mission in the base game. The update with this expansion contains unspecified new features and improvements. August brings in the third expansion. It has no title yet, but the artwork suggests a LARP DLC, which as a shining part of the base game.

Saints Row is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
