Prytania Media Announces Two New AAA Studios

A Growing Conglomerate

When new talent arrives in the video game world it is a celebratory event. It means new IPs, new ideas, and fresh takes on genres beloved and brand new. Yet, the funny thing about new talent is that it brings more with it. Today, Prytania Media cofounders, Jeff Strain and Annie Delisi Strain, are happy to reveal two new AAA studios joining the Prytania Media family.

The two studios are made up of talent from all over the video game world, from Blizzard to WB Games Montreal. Of course, a press release provides more details about these new studios. Focussing on the creation of groundbreaking new games Prytania Media is excited to unveil the newest additions to its roster.

Prytania Media

Firstly, headed by Jeremy Gaffney, Fang, and Claw is a studio with some serious talent. Developing the next evolution of fantasy combat sports the studio is backed by a $3M seed investment by Transcend Fund. Importantly, Fang and Claw includes creatives from 343 Industries, Undead Labs, and even Sucker Punch Productions. Of course, Gaffney himself, the studio head, comes from a background at Blizzard Entertainment and as a co-founder of  Turbine Entertainment.

Excitingly, the second studio joining Prytania Media is their first emerging market studio: Dawon Entertainment. Based out of Bangalore, India, the studio is headed by studio director and award-winning game designer Whitney Beltrán. Interestingly, the studio is developing games with a cultural focus on India. Of course, this means the games are coming from Indian developers for Indian players, embracing India’s captivating folklore, art, music, and cutting-edge technology sector.

Obviously, Fang and Claw, and Dawon Entertainment are joining Prytania’s other studios. Of course, their sister studios are the already established Possibility Space and Crop Circle Games. So, congrats to the growing Prytania media family.
