Flashback Themed Threads and Tunes
It’s fantastic when gaming breaks the boundaries. For instance, when a game crosses into the world in the form of fresh merch. Today, Microids is happy to announce a collaboration with Athletes on The Mat (ATHOM) and Respawned Records for their game Flashback 2. The collaborations will bring a line of Flashback 2-themed clothing and an album centering on the Flashback universe. Of course, a press release provides more details on the collaborations as well as insights from Frederic Claquin, VP of Entertainment, and VP of Microids Records.
Flashback 2 reintroduces players to Conrad B. Hart. On a mission to find his missing friend, players will blast their way across different environments in the 22nd century. Interestingly, the game is a fully 3D platform shooter that is sure to provide a challenge.
Frederic Claquin of Microids provides some insight into the collaborations, “These two collaborations confirm Microids’ commitment to developing the worlds of its brands in depth. Establishing our brands beyond the world of video games, creating bridges, and strengthening our reputation is a natural step for us.”
Importantly, the collection with ATHOM includes a selection of different clothes. For instance, the collection features a T-shirt, a sweatshirt, a rashguard (lycra top) and grappling shorts. Additionally, gamers will have the perfect musical selection with the new album, “Music For Cloned Memory” from Respawned Records. Importantly, the album acts as an exclusive tribute to the Flashback universe.
Flashback 2 is releasing on November 16th, 2023. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The ATHOM collaboration is available here. Additionally, gamers can find the vinyl preorder of “Music For Cloned Memory” here.
