Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot World Tournament DLC Arriving on 17 August

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Brings Back Nostalgic Tournament

The fifth DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot was announced last month. Players got to see a glimpse at the contents of the 23rd World Tournament. However, Bandai Namco did not announce the release date along with the trailer. Fortunately, fans don’t have to wait anymore as they unveiled the launch date. The developer announced that it is arriving on 17 August 2023.

This will change the way we fight in the game. It will restrict players to ground battles, just like in the real anime. For players who are used to fighting in the air, it might take some time to get used to this different style of fighting. However, this change should make the game more interesting and fun.

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot was initially released on 16 January 2020. It is an exciting action-adventure game that brings the iconic world to life. Players embark on an epic journey as Goku, reliving key moments from the series while battling powerful foes, discovering hidden treasures, and honing their combat skills. The game offers a mix of exhilarating combat, exploration, and heartfelt storytelling. Fans love this game and the internet is filled with good reviews.

Remember that the 23rd World Tournament took place in Dragon Ball anime. Back then, Goku wasn’t super strong yet. But you’ll still face tough opponents. It is not sure if we will fight all the characters from that tournament, but the trailer shows battles with Cyborg Tao, Tien Shinhan, and Piccolo. There’s even a part where a really big Piccolo fights Goku. Other characters in the tournament were Chi-Chi, Krillin, Yamcha, and Kami using Hero’s body. We don’t know if they’ll be there in the new DLC, but we’ll find out when it comes out. Check out the trailer below.
