The Saga Continues in the Double Dragon Collection
Arc System Works just dropped the official game trailer of the Double Dragon Collection. Yes, you heard it right. The classic beat ’em up franchise is getting a physical multi-app release on the Nintendo Switch. Moreover, it will be available for purchase from 9 November 2022.
The package will include six classic Double Dragon games and they are:
1. Super Double Dragon
2. Double Dragon Advance
3. Double Dragon
4. Double Dragon II: The Revenge
5. Double Dragon III: The Sacred Stones
6. Double Dragon IV
Among the multitude of franchises that have left an indelible mark on the gaming industry, the Double Dragon series stands as a shining example of the enduring appeal of beat ’em-up games.
The original Double Dragon debuted in 1987 as an arcade game, and its premise was simple yet enticing. Players assume the roles of martial artist brothers, Billy and Jimmy Lee and set out to rescue Billy’s girlfriend, Marian, who has been abducted by a ruthless gang.
