Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania- New Editions for PS and Switch

A Special Announcement 

One of the most ambitious sidescrolling crossovers of the roguelike genre is releasing two new editions. Of course, Motion Twin and Evil Empire are announcing the release of the physical and special editions of Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania, on the PlayStation and Switch consoles. The hit roguelike Metroidvania’s crossover is allowing players to get even more out of the game with these new editions. For instance, players can obviously look forward to the extras that come with these editions. A press release provides more details on everything coming with both the physical and special editions.

Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania transports players back to the roots of the genre. This time, everyone’s favorite beheaded hero is going on a trip to a whole new world. Importantly, he’s going to be running into a lot of issues, this is Dracula’s home after all. However, the Beheaded won’t be alone. The famous Richter Belmont makes his return even as a playable character. Of course, in addition to the new setting, there will be a host of new content for players to explore from enemies, weapons, and more. 

The game’s Signature and retail editions for the PlayStation and Switch come with a load of extras. For instance, the retail version includes a reversable retro cover art. Furthermore, the Signature Edition includes the CD soundtrack, an exclusive art book, pin badges, and more. 

Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania is out now. It is available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox consoles, and the Nintendo Switch.
