UFO Robot Grendizer Game Coming Out in November

Unidentified Flying Obliterator

Earlier this year, around February, Microids revealed their upcoming mech game. UFO Robot Grendizer is a video game adaptation of the manga/anime of the same name. Its original run was during the mid-1970s and had a manga revival in 2014. The game was just announced to come out this November.

The story of UFO Robot Grendizer is a tale of a displaced alien. King Vega is on a conquest to expand his empire, invading nearby planets. Our hero, Duke Fleed, is the lone survivor of his planet’s invasion. He steals the Grendizer, a sacred robot embodiment of the God of War, and escapes his planet.

Duke lands on Earth, where he is taken in by Doctor Umon, who adopts him as a son and hides the Grendizer under his lab. A few years go by and King Vega’s army approaches Earth. Duke has to come out of hiding and pilot the Grendizer to defend his new home.

The gameplay trailer shown a few months ago shows an explorable world. Players control the Grendizer and fight other giant robots. It is unclear exactly what the scope of this game is, but Microids says it will follow the first arc of the series.

UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves will have a Deluxe and Collector’s Edition. A keychain, steelbook case, lenticular, and a poster will be in the Deluxe Edition. The Collector’s Edition will include everything above, plus digital bonuses, a Grendizer figurine, an artbook and more.

UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves will be coming out on November 14th. It will launch on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. A Nintendo Switch version is expected in 2024.
