Smite Embracing Divinity with $2.3 Million Gem Giveaway Event

It’s amazing when a game studio decides to give back to its community. Especially when the giveaway planned is as massive as this one. Today, Hirez Studios is happy to announce a new giveaway event for all players of their MOBA Smite. Taking place from July 28th to August 18th, the event is a 2.3 million dollar giveaway where Smite players have the opportunity to win 10,000 gems. A press release discusses the details of the event including how players can earn the gems. Additionally, a new event trailer also provides details on the event. 

Every Smite player knows how awesome gems are. They are the currency that allows you to get battle passes, skins, and if you don’t wanna spend favor, gods. Now, those that play the game have a chance to win 10,000 gems just for playing. From July 28th to August 18th, Smte will be giving away 10,000 gems to a random player every half an hour during the event. In total, there will be one thousand winners of the event, and all players need to do is play within an hour of the gem giveaways. 

For those new to the game, or those players unsure what they can do with all of those gems, you can do a lot with this amount of gems. For instance, with this many gems players could buy 100 direct purchase skins, 12 battle passes, 3 major events including color forge skins, and more.
