Squad Update 5.0 Introduces A Ton of New Content
OffWorld Industries is an acclaimed video game studio that worked on Starship Troopers: Extermination, Post Scriptum and Squad, a hit FPS shooter. Recently, the company released Update 5.0 for the game, where it released a ton of new content. Furthermore, interested fans can get the game on sale via the Steam Summer Sale from June 29th to July 13th, 2023. The game will be available at a 25% discount during that period.
In the recent update, players will get their hands on the PLANMC, Chinese forces who are expertly trained in amphibious ops, marine warfare and naval combat. Additionally, with the addition of the PLANMC, players will get their hands on a host of new vehicles and kits on the battlefield. This includes two light anti-tank variants, three squad leaders, marksman and the Z-8J Helicopter. There are other vehicles to explore in the update. Besides that, players can enjoy the Russian VDV, which specializes in fast and hard-hitting amphibious assaults.
Moreover, there are two brand-new Emote Packs to try, the Free PT Pack and Attitude Pack, that lets players add insult to injury as they take on their opponents in 50v50 action. In the game, players jump into large-scale combined-arms multiplayer action with realistic communications and team play. Also, there are twenty-three maps to explore, combined with unique gameplay and a visceral experience that leads to realistic and deadly action. Squad is perfect for players seeking a realistic experience.
