Kudzu Reaches Kickstarter Goal- Announces Fishing Mini-Game

Hitting Goals

It’s a great thing when an indie game hits its goals. Especially when reaching those goals serves to add more content to the game. Today,  Mega Cat Studios and developer Pie For Breakfast Studios are happy to announce that the Kickstarter for their upcoming Game Boy game, Kudzu, reached its goal. Of course, reaching this goal means that players have unlocked some new content for the game. A press release delves into more details about the game. Furthermore, a Kickstarter trailer gives players a glimpse of the game itself.

Kudzu

Kudzu introduces players to Max. As a simple gardener, Max, is interested in a species of coiling and climbing perennial vines known as Kudzu. Yet, after discovering his master has disappeared into the fields, Max sets out to find him. Importantly, the game is an adventure that combines the classic feel of old-school RPGs with modern features. Players will face off against monstrous creatures, 8 bosses, and more while using various garden tools as weaponry. Additionally, players will be able to adventure through diverse environments, like mysterious forests and enchanted gardens.

With Kudzu reaching its Kickstarter goal, players can look forward to the addition of a fishing mini-game. However, this mini-game is but the first of the expansive additions that Mega Cat Studios is bringing to the game. Of course, players can check out the Kickstarter trailer for a glimpse of the game.

The game is set for release in late 2023. The game’s Kickstarter is currently going and offering a variety of rewards for participants. Of course, the game will be released for Gameboy. So, are you ready for Kudzu?
