Jumanji: Wild Adventures Co-op Game Announced

What Year Is It?

The influence and legacy of 1995’s Jumanji cannot be overstated. While the newer films in the series were definitely moneymakers, their influence and legacy is… well, not like Jumanji. Four years after the most recent film though, a new game called Jumanji: Wild Adventures is set to come out.

In 2019, Outright Games developed another game in this series called Jumanji: The Video Game. Wild Adventures will offer a slightly different experience than its predecessor. While you can play as the characters from the films, the gameplay shifts to more of a beat ’em up and platformer style.

Jumanji: Wild Adventures

Play solo or with up to three friends in local co-op as Smolder Bravestone, Franklin “Mouse” Finbar, Professor Shelly Oberon, or Ruby Roundhouse. By the looks of the trailer, the cast will be headed to all sorts of locations. Ancient tombs, magma rivers, jungles, and icy glaciers are some of the areas we can see.

Outright Games says that the playable characters have “totally unique strengths, as well as unlockable powers and abilities which players can use to customise their play“.

Jumanji: Wild Adventures will be coming out on November 3rd. It will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
