Man Vs NatureÂ
Prepare to step into a hostile new world. Your survival is entirely up to the player and how resilient they can be in the face of constant adversity. At the PC Gaming Show, Creepy Jar, the studio behind the successful Green Hell survival game, excitedly revealed their newest title: Chimera. Taking what the studio learned from Green Hell, Creepy Jar looks to expand on the base-building, survival genre in this new co-op FPS. Importantly, a press release provides more details on the game itself. Of course, a brand new teaser trailer, that premiered during the show, gives players a glimpse of the world of the game.Â
Chimera places players in the boots of a convict exiled from Earth on a hospitable, yet dangerous, planet. This planet makes players deal with extremes between heat and cold, not to mention, hordes of terrifying monsters. Yet, the world is capable of being molded. Players can work together, with up to three other players, to build a base, mine to collect resources, build complex machinery, and explore the world around them.Â
Inviting players to a brand new sci-fi world, Creepy Jar is looking to expand upon what their time with Green Hell taught them. Furthermore,  MichaÅ‚ Stawicki, Game Director in Creepy Jar, shares his thoughts on Chimera.Â
He explains, “We want to spice up what players think they know about base-building and add our own special touch alongside our now expansive knowledge of the survival genre.”Â
Of course, gamers can get a taste of the game in the new teaser. Check it out below.Â
Importantly, Chimera does not have a release date yet. However, players can currently wish list the game on Steam. So, are you ready to jump into Chimera? What do you think of the game so far?Â
