Baldur’s Gate III Adjusts Release Date For PC and PlayStation 5
Baldur’s Gate has been in development for almost six years, and fans are patiently waiting on its official release on PC and PlayStation 5. Today, Larian Studios has provided a major Community Update for the fans via its Steam page. In the update, the company confirmed that the game’s release has now been brought up on PC while it has been delayed on PlayStation 5. Furthermore, the company has given other key details on the game.
Via its official update, Larian Studios stated, “We will be releasing the game in order of platform readiness. Baldur’s Gate 3 will first come to PC on August 3rd, before launching on PlayStation 5 a few weeks later on September 6th.” Therefore, the company believes that over the past six years, the game has grown significantly through several phases of development in early access and is in a ready state for release. Moreover, the game was delayed on PlayStation 5 to ensure that it hits 60FPS and pushes its limits.
Besides that, the developers unveiled a ton of content that fans can look forward to upon the game’s full release in summer. Additionally, players can look forward to several races and classes, companions to enjoy for the party, and finding one of more than thirty feats. Therefore, players will have their hands as they jump into Baldur’s Gate III this summer on both PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and GOG.
