Agatha Christie Murder On Orient Express Launches In October
Microids along with Microids Studio Lyndon, a video game publisher and developer, have announced the release date for Agatha Christie Murder on Orient Express. The companies have confirmed that the game will release on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on October 19th, 2023. The famous author’s novel and stories live on as Microids brings the popular franchise to video game consoles and PC once again.
Furthermore, players can purchase the Deluxe Edition to the game where they will receive benefits such as a forty-eight page artbook, digital original soundtrack and an Orient Express ticket bookmark. In the game, Hercule Poirot, a famous and legendary detective, must solve a murder that has taken place on a popular train. Moreover, players will meet an interesting cast of characters, each with their own stories and motives.
Additionally, players will have access to Joanna Locke, a new character in the game that is playable and allows for playable flashbacks outside the train environment. Also, along the way as both Poirot and Joanna, players must be able to use their skills to solve several mysteries after speaking to characters, searching for clues and much more. Cedric Peyravernay is a French artist who has made significant contributions to the video game industry as he worked on games such as Diablo IV, Prey and Dishonored. Thus, the Artbook gives insight into some of his character designs and more.
