The Secrets of Gloomrot are almost ready to be unveiled. An expansive new territory, a land full of evil machinations and darkness. All of this and more await the Vampires of V-Rising. Today, Stunlock Studios is giving players a look at the full gameplay trailer for the upcoming expansion of their hit game, V Rising. The expansion is bringing a whole host of new content to the game including combat mechanics and changes to spells. A press release provides details on the expansion. Furthermore, the gameplay trailer gives players a full look at what awaits them in Gloomrot.Â
V Rising is a top-down survival game where players take on the role of vampires in a darkly gothic world. Players will seek out power to raise their standing in the world in order to become the next Dracula. Of course, players will need to fight to exist in this world. Humans, monsters, and even other vampires will try to ensure player vampires meet their end. Luckily you have many ways to grow your power from weapons to abilities, and even magic.Â
The Secrets of Gloomrot expansion is adding a whole new region for players to explore. Additionally, the new territory is bringing a whole new biome to the game the size of the Dunley Farmlands. Â Additionally, players can look forward to new castle-building mechanics, entirely expanded combat mechanics, a new age of technology, a new spell school, and more. V Rising is currently available for PC via Steam Early Access. The Secrets of Gloomrot will be releasing on May 17th.Â
