Descend Into the BunkerÂ
Welcome to World War I. You find yourself in a darkening bunker, your fellow soldiers dead or gone. However, you are far from alone down there. Today Frictional Games, the studio behind previous iterations of Amnesia, is happy to announce the release of a new demo for their upcoming game Amnesia: The Bunker. Adding to the beloved horror franchise, and looking to take the genre further, the game is aiming to bring about a revolutionary horror experience. A press release provides more details about the game and its new demo. Additionally, a new gameplay preview gives players a look at 10 minutes of the demo.Â
Amnesia: The Bunker places players in the boots of a French soldier during WWI. Dealing with an onset of amnesia and armed with only a revolver, and a loud dynamo flashlight, players are left to explore the bunker. However, they are far from alone down there. While dealing with your amnesia and the darkness of the bunker, you will also be hunted by an otherworldly creature. Importantly, players will be forced to make split-second choices and reactions as they try to survive inside the bunker.Â
The newly released demo allows players to sample the game until its launch on June 6th. Of course, players can get a look at the gameplay trailer. Check it out below for a glimpse of ten minutes of gameplay.Â
Amnesia: The Bunker will be released on June 6th, 2023. It will be available on PC via Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation. The demo is currently available for download on Steam.Â
